Stockbridge Ramsdell House offers congenial quilting retreats on a regular basis.

Relax in your elegantly appointed room with panoramic Hudson River views and enjoy the camaraderie of fellow quilters in our light-filled, air-conditioned workroom.  Ott lights for evening work, irons and ironing boards, and tables for “batting up” provided.

Check in after 1 pm on Friday; check out Sunday by 5 pm.  Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch are included in the weekend rate of $235/person/double occupancy plus tax. Quilters are welcome to stay additional days before or after the weekend for an additional price of $75/person/night with breakfast and dinner included. Weekday retreats are also $75/person/night with breakfast and dinner included. Occasionally the retreats include classes for which there is an additional charge. 50 percent deposit required.

We can accommodate up to 10 quilters. Call or email for availability for a scheduled retreat or talk to us about scheduling a private retreat for your quilting group.

We would also be happy to schedule retreats for other groups: knitters, embroiderers, scrapbookers, church groups, writers.

Guests who attend two retreats will receive a 50 percent discount for a third retreat.
